Question
I am trying to diet and have a healthier lifestyle. I cannot afford a gym membership and do not have time to eat 6-8 small meals a day but my weight is out of control. I have been able to reduce calorie intake to about 1000 per day. Any Advice?

Answer
Yeah...Stop it! Extreme dieting is DANGEROUS and will ultimately lead to weight gain. Guessing at your calorie intake is perilous and unnecessary- I just need your height, weight, age, and how active you are and I can give you a number based in science not starvation. :)

Gyms aren't necessary either- there are lots of great DVD workouts as well as simple self guided things, like walking!  Find something you like to do and find people to do it with! Dance in your living room, walk with friends, or set up your own "bootcamp" in the back yard. It doesn't have to be expensive to be effective.
