Hi. I'm a mother of four, 29 years old, 5' 2", 132 lbs. I've been working on losing baby weight from my last baby. She's a year old. I recently succeeded in losing 10 lbs by counting calories (and therefore making much better choices health-wise).  I seem to have hit a wall, and can't seem to lose the last 12 lbs.
I am breastfeeding my baby, and I know that needs to affect my food choices and diet plan.  
Can you recommend ideas on how to lose the weight without endangering my baby?
She does eat solids but prefers nursing, so what can eat or take to enrich my milk to help her gain weight? She refuses to take a bottle.

Hi Sheva,

A body goes on a diet, loses some water weight, the metabolism drops because the Inner Manager just knows that all of a sudden a lot less is coming in. Glad to hear you are making better choices, but counting calories is not the best approach.

Eat all the fresh raw fruit you want, and all the fresh raw or slightly cooked non-starchy vegetables you want. Plus whole grains, and a little "meat". Lots of plain water.

Feeling full(er) on produce raises the metabolism.
