ANSWER: A balanced vegetarian diet is extremely good for losing weight- just make sure you get enough protein by eating eggs, beans and nuts every day. More importantly make sure you get some exercise- walk, swim or bike daily to build strength and burn calories.

hope this helps,

Answer
I think biking is a good idea, but you need to make sure your bike fits you.

Try http://www.rei.com/expertadvice/articles/bike+fit.html for info on how to make sure your bike fits you right.

A little more variety in your diet would probably be good, but other than that- it is getting active that is going to make a difference.
