A diet plan?

Question
I'm 18 years old and have been made fun of for years for a very unorthodox diet. For year I was thought to just be a very picky eater but 3 years ago I went to see a dietary specialist and we found out I抦 allergic to certain types of protein mainly those in meat products. I抦 starting an exercise program to try and cut weight and build muscle, so I抦 looking for a way to get a lot of proteins ?primarily nuts ?because I can eat most nuts. I try to eat a lot of fruit smoothies, I抦 also looking for a diet that gives me a lot of energy. I抳e found experimenting with a lot of diet plans that they just don抰 give me a lot of energy and I抦 always tired. And what are some good foods to eat to help support your immune system? I generally get sick a lot around this time a year and I don抰 want it to interfere with my school work.

Answer
Hi Ryan,

Good for you for being tuned into your body enough to get a sense of what you need and need to avoid.

Make sure it is raw nuts - tend to not overeat them, they are good things but a lot of fat.

You get protein from making your own amino acids, some kind are in almost everything. Your body cannot use very much and too much cause kidney damage, and more.

Try not mixing protein with carbs for more energy, see www.premiumfuel.com
