Am I too fat?

Question
Although my parents keep telling me that I'm not, I think that I am 10-15 lbs overweight. I am 4'9" and I weigh 90 lbs. I am nearly 13 years old and I am a competitive gymnast. I am very strong and each of my legs weigh 10 lbs, but I have a very small "spare tire" around my waist. Every one says that I'm strong and I am all muscle, but I know that I could work on my stomach area.

Could you help me come up with an excercise plan to give me a six-pack with out my parents becoming sceptical?

Thanks!

~Lauren

Answer
No I am sorry I cant as you shouldnt try and get a six pack thats simply happens for some athletes from their genetics and training living like an athlete and concentrating on performance. A six pack never won a gymnast competition, a MMA fight, a basketball or football game and for sure never ever means healthy. You are 14 and light and should NOT starve yourself and do possible permanent damage just to get a six pack. Its hard for men to get a six pack let alone women and they do so for very short time periods for photo shoots. You must have body fat just to live a healthy life.

I would ask you please get a grasp on your body image and dont worry about it. Train and live like an athlete enjoy it concentrate not on your fat but performance and positive things let your body mature and grow healthy
