I'd like to lose weight, but haven't really had enough luck at it no matter how hard I push myself at the gym. I've eatten both Chinese and Thai food. I've been told Thai is healthiest of the two. What concerns me is that someone told me that at least in Chinese restaurants in the U.S. sugars are added, etc, to make it more Americanized and therefore making it less healthy. Do you know if that is true, and if so, how can I eat only the more traditional versions of Asian food? Thank you.

Hi James,

The more traditional version of Asian food is usually served at Asian restaurants that have many Asian customers. However, you can still eat healthy at the more modern one if you eat like an Asian, that is:
1. Start your meal with Asian style soup which is low in fat and calories content. Unlike American style soup, Asian soup is very low in fat because it is not thicken with creme.
2. Drink 2-5 glass of plain warm tea. Tea increase your metabolism.
