There are many factors that affect the level of cholesteral in the body.  Dietary cholesteral is one factor but also you have to take into consideration that the liver produces cholesteral on its own.

I do not recommend that people eat or drink dairy products if they can avoid it. I am certain that your milk powder contains chemical preservatives and other chemicals which, in  my opinion is much more harmful that any dietary cholesteral that it might contribute.

Cholesteral is a natural substance that is necessary for the body to function. It is manufactured by the liver to protect parts of the body from damage.  It can be found in the lining of every cell in our body and surround our nerves with what is called a myelin sheath.  Without this substance our body would not function and we would die.

High cholesteral is most often a result of damage to the body on a cellular level. This is most commonly caused by chemicals in our food. These chemicals act as poisons and result in the increased distribution of cholesteral which is designed to help protect cells and nerve tissue from damage. Reducing dietary cholesteral rarely has an effect on this because your liver will produce more to compensate.

The best way to reduce cholesteral is to avoid process or foods with chemical additives.  Eating whole, natural and preferably raw and organic fruits and vegetables is the best approach.  There are also some very good dietary supplements out there that will help you lower your cholesteral levels.  Several years ago, before I began eating well, I suffered from high cholesteral and at that time took several vitamin and herb supplements which were successful at lowering my numbers.  Doing some research online will provide you with the information you need to follow a similar path.
