Answer
Hello Sadaf,

I know how discouraging it is to gain all this weight at one time, especially when you want to look your best on your special day.
It's probably no coincidence the weight gain coincided with your engagement. Take a look at how your eating habits have changed since that time and why you've gained the weight.
Your proposed diet is low in calories and you will definitely lose weight on it, but it's quite restrictive and I cannot imagine you would be able to keep up with it for very long. Instead I would suggest while you keep the lean proteins, beans, fruits and vegetables and add some low-fat dairy (skim milk, cheese, yogurt), your main goal will be to drastically reduce any sweets and fatty foods you have been consuming.

Exercise is a very important addition to a weight loss program. I don't believe people gain double if they stop working out, unless they have gotten used to eating twice as much!

The best thing would be to adopt a healthy eating and exercise plan that you'll be able to stick with in the coming year for weight loss, and after that to maintain a weight you are comfortable with!
