drinking cold water after a meal is bad?

Question
my dad recently told me that drinking cold water (normal drinking water from the fridge) after eating is bad because doing so thickens and solidifies the oils and fats in what i ate, making them stick inside the body and build up. is there any truth to that? should i drink warm water instead? will that "melt" the fat off? how about room temperature water?

also, i noticed that my appetite has greatly increased compared to about 8 years ago. when i was 12, i was in the school's basketball team and i played baseball sometimes. i was very active. but i didn't eat much. i wasn't intentionally eating less, i just didn't crave for food and a tiny amount would really take me a long way back then. i was seriously lean, strong and fit. now, i don't do sports anymore. i thought my appetite would decrease since i'm not using up energy and stuff but it's the opposite. why is that? can you give suggestions on what i should eat to "satisfy" my body as i have unknowingly but successfully done before?

Answer
No thats completely false and one of the dumbest things I have ever heard. Water is good any time more people need to drink a lot more.

eat real whole foods. Your 20 now in the prime of your life your bigger your hormones are at their peak, Your going to be hungry naturally your a man now. Id suggest you find some type of training you enjoy but your going to have to live with the fact your hungry and need more fuel. If you want to get the ability to not be hungry as much eat more protein meats and fats and tack on lots of green leafy veggies, both will keep you full much longer and are great for you.
