Eat when hungry

Question
If a person eats when hungry and stops when hunger is gone, and doesn't eat fast and eats a rather balanced amount of carbs, fat and proteins but not sticking to any diet and with no forbidden foods...is this person going to put on weight?

I'm talking of real stomach hunger, not psychological hunger.

Answer
Yes its possible just as its possible they will lose weight or maintain weight. It really boils down to thermodynamics and if they are eating more, in excess of or less than they are burning each day.

Their current health and body fat status could be a large players as well.
