Question
Assuming you ate the  same amount of calories as a non vegetarian diet, would you lose weight faster on a reduced calorie vegetarian diet?

Answer
Hi,

No, eating the same amount of calories, no matter what the source, will lead to the same weight gain or loss.  Of course dependent on age, height, body type, sex, and genes.  It's very simple, take in less calories that what your burn to loose weight.  There is no magic diet, just becoming aware of your calorie intake.

Just make sure to follow a balanced diet and exercise regularly and you should be on the way to weight loss!

Thanks.
