Question
I am a 30 year old, 5'0" tall female, who weighs about 110 pounds.  If I walk about 14,000 steps a day without getting any other exercise, how many calories would I need to maintain my weight??

Thanks

Answer
According to my calculations, you would burn about 1400 calories a day without doing activity.
14,000 steps is roughly about 7 miles and you would burn about 80 calories per mile, bringing your total daily calories burned to between 1900 and 2000 calories a day--not a bad amount of food allowance for a petite young lady!
Keep up the walking :)
