Weight concern

Question
Hi. I am 16 yr old girl and weigh about 130lbs.  I work out every single day and maintain a fairly healthy diet.  Around my leg is 21 in, my waist is 31, my mid is 26 and my bust is 32.  Is there any way for me to have a smaller figure?

Answer
Hello Shay,

I'm happy to hear you work out every day--that is a healthy habit to start while you're young.
You don't mention your height, and that has a lot to do with how much you weigh. Unless you are petite (less than 5'4") you are at a healthy weight now. I imagine you are taller than this because your measurements sound small.
We can always lose more weight, but it's not necessarily a good thing.
If you find yourself constantly thinking about your figure and your size, so much that you have trouble enjoying anything else, speak to the school counsellor or school nurse about your thoughts. Teenage girls often become too pre-occupied with their figure when there is nothing to worry about and you look perfectly fine!
