Answer
Hello Angela,

Ok, first off, we need to focus 80% of our attention on food and 20% of exercise. Simply getting diet in order will have a significant impact on your weight loss. Here are some suggestions:

1. Start by keeping carbohydrate intake down to a minimum. Carbs are bread, pasta, cake, candy, cookies, sugar, cereals, sweets, etc. Try eating no more than 75 grams per day. Eat your carbs at breakfast and lunch and consume no carbs at dinner and beyond. At dinner, eat vegetables and protein (meat and eggs). If you are starving at night, have some protein or veggies.

2. For exercise, I want you to start walking every day. 30 minutes twice daily, preferably before eating. Not speed walking, just leisure walking.

3. Go to the gym three days a week and workout for 30 minutes, primarily lifting weights. You're going to have to learn how to lift weights safely, but I want you to focus all of your gym time on lifting weights, don't worry about cardio right now. Keep your rests short (60 seconds or less).

Start here. Let me know if you have questions.

Committed to your success!
