Question
QUESTION: hello sir iam  a 18 year old boy and i have my cycling practices and basketball practices which all together last around 2 hours in a day
i got myself tribulus thinking it would be helpful, will  it be helpful tome if i take it 2 times a day 1 capsule at a time?
and what if on a day i do no workout ?

ANSWER: Hi Havi,

Tribulus is an herb that is used for a variety of male health issues like low testosterone, sexual problems, decreased muscle mass, etc. Furthermore its effectiveness depends on a lot of factors like your age, health, activity level, genetics, etc.
The thing is at your age unless you have some type of medical problem you really do not need a test booster.  However average suggested doses are around 1,000mg (1 gram)  1-2 times a day prior to meals. A good way to do it is take a dose 30 minutes before breakfast and an hour after dinner. It does not matter if you are working out or not that day. This has no barring on the dosage.

There are better researched and more effective ways to boost testosterone. However it appears that you are just looking to gain more energy and endurance to complete your training and events.
You should look into some type of pre workout supplement. These usually contain a stimulant like caffeine, a vasodilator like Arginine or Citrulline, and other things like creatine, BCAAs, and Glutamine. all of these ingredients aide you in physical activity by giving you energy and fueling muscles to do work.

Finally you need to assure you are eating enough food throughout the day. Be sure you get anywhere from .75-1 gram protein per pound of bodyweight. If you are naturally lean and very active then keep carbs at about 1 gram per pound, and fat at around .5 grams per pound.
So as an example a 150 pound guy would eat 150 grams protein, 150 grams carbs, and 75 grams of fat.
Also be sure your water intake is high. Aim for a half to full gallon per day.

QUESTION: sir what are the other ways to boost testosterone

Answer
One simple way is to watch what you eat. You need to keep your body fat low as excess body fat can lead to lower T levels. Not saying you're doing this, but its something to keep in mind when planning meals.

Supplements that are good are:
*D-aspartic acid
*Forskolin
*Ashwagandha
*ZMA

To read about how these supplements work check out this article http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/stacked-supplements-for-gaining-size.html
The section on test boosters is about half way through, but reading it all won't hurt.

All of these are available at retail supplement stores or online at bodybuilding.com. Just assure that since you reside outside of the U.S. that what you're buying is legal. This is not to say anything is dangerous, just that certain countries outlaw things that are common in the U.S. market. Another consideration is price. Many non U.S. countries make you pay a premium for supplements.

Otherwise you could just do really manly stuff like wrestle bears and chop down trees... Just kidding.

Serious though, check out the supplements I mentioned above. And please avoid drugs and supplements that make bold promises about testosterone. If they contain some of the above ingredients then its probably ok. Just be very careful what you buy. Supplements for fat burning, muscle building, and test boosting are among the biggest categories with deceptive products.
