Overweight

Question
Is there a word for overweight that means overfat? Whenever I talk about the health benefits of falling within a healthy weight level someone may jump all over me saying I'm a hypocrite because I am overweight which is technically true but not so much due to fat. It sometimes seems people who are unhealthy hide behind the vaguery of definitions.

Great question! There isn't a word that I know of, but maybe the science community will come up with one soon.
Technically, there are many athletic people who weigh more than 'ideal' but certainly are not over fat. Sometimes we just call them muscular or athletic.
But there are many instances of people being overweight (including severe fluid retention, and even pregnancy!) who are not over fat.
