Abdomen

Question
Julia
After some drastic lifestyle changes I am finally seeing,in the mirror not the scale, a bit of fat coming off my 49 year old 5'8" 230 pound frame.
For three months I have not taken alcohol or caffeine, limited my calories, eaten lots of fibre, and exercised daily.
My arms, chest, legs look better but my pants are as tight as ever.I have been doing lots of situps so maybe the ab. muscles are bigger?
Anyway, will I start seeing some shrinkage there,if ever,or can you suggest something to twaek my routine.
Thanks!

Problem is my belly is as big as ever

Answer
you are doing GREAT! I would tell you to keep doing what you are doing, gradually adding either intensity, frequency or duration to your regime....going harder/tougher or more often or longer when you do exercise!

Learn that this needs to be your lifestyle from here on out, belly perfect or not! It isn't about every part looking great it's about what is on the inside functioning better and longer!
