Question
I had the routine gastric bypass surgery seven and  a half years ago. have not had one bit of issue, yet about a week ago, I have started belching, passing gas and having bent over grabbing my stomache gas pains. I have never had this before. I am using the restroom regularly and this is very painful. I know this could be a sign of tissue blockage in my instestine. Can you please provide me with other signs? It doesnt matter what I eat or drink.

thank you.

Answer
Pain is not normal. Always talk to your team, family doctor or go to emergency.

Some symptoms can include:

Crampy abdominal pain that comes and goes
Nausea
Vomiting
Diarrhea
Constipation
Inability to have a bowel movement or pass gas
Swelling of the abdomen (distention)

My friend who had this vomited quite a bit and out symptoms to the point that she was vomiting bile.

Please see your doctor right away.  I'm not a doctor.
