Stephanie’s Weight Loss Story!

When did you become unhappy with your weight?
After I gave birth to my daughter.

What made you decide to lose weight?
When I weighed myself at my moms on January 12th 2008 and it read 209lbs. I honestly thought to myself that her scale was way off, I didn’t really realize that I gained so much weight. I thought that I was about 185lbs or so. Well, I stepped on many different scales and realized that they all read the same 209. That is when I decided to make a life changing decision to not only feel good about myself and how I look but for my health and my family. I went on a “diet” LOW calorie for about 2 weeks and I lost 10 lbs. Until, I really looked into Weight Watchers and I forced myself to join and I have since lost 26lbs! I am amazed and so proud of how dedicated I have been, how committed I am and how GREAT I feel. It’s the best thing when you see someone you haven’t spoke to in a while and they notice how good you look or when I notice when guys are “checking me out” (although I’m married, it’s still feels great to know that I’m eye candy). I am going to keep this up in hopes to get to my goal of 135 to 140 lbs!

What were the most important changes you made to lose weight?
Being honest; being determined; committed and devoted.

What was most challenging about losing weight?
Well I STILL battle the challenge at times because I’m still losing weight but I would say snacking. It’s hard when you think “it’s just 2 points” but it may be 2 more points than you are allowed for the day.

How long did it take you to start to see results?
I started dieting on January 15th of this year. I joined Weight Watchers January 29th and I have since then lost 36lbs.

How long did it take for you to reach your current weight?
3 months.

How long have you maintained your weight loss and how do you do it?
I’m still in the process.

How has your life changed now that you’ve lost weight?
Dramatically! I’m a happier person all around, I’ve gained SO much confidence and my intimate life with my husband has greatly improved due to my confidence and feeling comfortable in my body.

How did ShapeFit help you reach your weight loss goals?
ShapeFit’s are very motivational.
