When did you become unhappy with your weight?
I’ve always been unhappy with my weight.

What made you decide to lose weight?
In middle school I got teased and it made me not want to go to high school. I chose to be home-schooled until my senior year.

What were the most important changes you made to lose weight?
My diet plan and I exercised more.

What was most challenging about losing weight?
The cravings were tough and doing it alone was also difficult.

How long did it take you to start to see results?
About 4 to 6 months.

How long did it take for you to reach your current weight?
Almost one year.

How long have you maintained your weight loss and how do you do it?
I’m still maintaining my weight loss. I workout for 2 hours, 6 days a week.

What keeps you motivated to continue your weight loss success?
Being happy with how far I have got in my life and wanting to be able keep it up and motivate others.

How has your life changed now that you’ve lost weight?
It’s been great! I don’t get teased any longer, I feel much more confident with myself and I have more friends.

Do you have any advice for others who are trying to lose weight?
It’s always better to achieve your goals in life no matter how hard it is or how long it takes because at the end it’s all about you and what makes you happy.

Bayan’s Weight Loss Workouts!

Weight Training:
I do about 1.5 hours of weight training that consists of free weights and machines.

Cardiovascular:
For cardio , I do 30-40 minutes per day (6 days per week) and mix it up with different exercises.
