Kortne’s Weight Loss Story!

When did you become unhappy with your weight?
I got on the computer to find a picture of my husband and I to share on my Facebook to let everyone know that he is gearing up for another deployment. When I found photos, I couldn’t believe who I saw next to my husband!

What made you decide to lose weight?
I wanted to feel in charge of one thing in my life. Being a military wife, it doesn’t give you much time to focus on yourself or be in charge of your life. I knew that this is one thing I was able to fix. I thought it was fair to my family to lose the weight so I could be around them as long as I can.

What were the most important changes you made to lose weight?
Planning! I always tell everyone it’s all about making a plan. If you don’t plan, you’re setting yourself up for failure. Plan your day around what you will eat along with finding the time to workout.

Inspiring others to get them started on their journey. I love seeing other people’s success. It’s a huge motivator for me!
