Everyone at work was signing up for a biggest loser contest, so I decided it was time. I wanted it to be for me and my life not just for a cash prize.

What were the most important changes you made to lose weight?
Eating and always having healthy snacks and making time for myself to go to the gym and not feel guilty.

What was most challenging about losing weight?
Not seeing the scale come down as fast as I’d like but it didn’t take me overnight to gain it. Patience is the hardest part.

I saw and felt results almost instantly. In 3 weeks I was down 7 pounds.

How long did it take for you to reach your current weight?
My current weight is 154 pounds. I started in January of 2012. I still want to lose 20-25 more pounds.

I’m still working on it.
