Tina’s Weight Loss Story!

When did you become unhappy with your weight?
I was overweight my entire life. When I got to 540 pounds, I hated my life and decided to change it. I wanted a solution and no more quick fixes.

What made you decide to lose weight?
I wanted to be alive for my children. When I had my 4th child I had enough and forever wanted to change.

What were the most important changes you made to lose weight?
I had to fix my thought process and perception about how I dealt with food and emotions, and then I was able to fix my diet and food intake.

What was most challenging about losing weight?
After I lost all my weight naturally, I had tons of excess skin and it was making my heart work overtime. I had to pray about it and decide if I wanted to risk my life to get it surgically removed.

How long did it take you to start to see results?
I started seeing results in a couple of months when I started doing things correctly.

How long did it take for you to reach your current weight?
3 years.

How long have you maintained your weight loss and how do you do it?
I have kept the weight off since I lost it all, which is over 2 years now.

What keeps you motivated to continue your weight loss success?
I never want to go back to how I once felt, which was like a prisoner trapped in my own body! I’m not a soldier of life and I LOVE being able and capable.

How has your life changed now that you’ve lost weight?
I am able to be more active with my children. I’m now a health coach and invest my time helping people take back control of their lives and become healthy.

Do you have any advice for others who are trying to lose weight?
Don’t ever give up! Always make small goals for yourself so you can strive to reach them. Don’t lose hope!

Tina’s Weight Loss Eating Plan!

Breakfast:
tina-j-weight-loss-story-41/2 cup oatmeal, 2 egg whites and 1 cup of spinach.

Lunch:
4 ounces of chicken, 1 cup of kale, 1/2 cup of sweet potatoes, 1/4 cup of almonds.

Dinner:
4 ounces of lean sirloin, 1 cup of broccoli, 1/2 cup of sweet potatoes.

Snacks or Mini Meals:
1/2 cup of cottage cheese, 1 cup of green veggies.

Nutritional Supplements:
V-Core protein shake mix.

Tina’s Weight Loss Workouts!

Weight Training:
My weight training is broken up into different body parts each day and include leg day, arm and chest day, back and shoulders day and abs.

Cardiovascular:
I do 30 minutes of cardio activity daily.
