How To Lose Lose Weight Now

Obesity and excess weight are now plaguing the developed and industrialized nations of the world. With more and more people crossing the weight line and becoming fat, the quality of life is fast deteriorating. Physicians and health experts across the globe are now focusing on how to solve this problem and save their over two third population from leading a dismal life.

Fighting weight loss is not as big a task as it would appear in the onset. The human body is built for activity and responds positively if treated according to this nature. A few simple guidelines given here are proof of how well your body will respond to weight loss efforts.

1. Balanced Diet: weight loss is neither the product of nor the synonym of starvation. It is the result of a having a healthy balanced diet that caters to the body's nutritional needs. Even fat is a nutrient and your body needs a certain amount of fat for proper functioning. Quitting fat cold turkey will cause movement problems in the joints in the long run. A healthy balanced diet, aimed at weight loss, goes for a higher proportion of quality proteins such as white meat. Health professionals recommend taking 35-40% of protein in the daily diet. Fats come second, around 25-30% of the diet, but these don't include greasy fast food or French Fries. Incorporate healthy fats into your food, such as olive oil or avocado oils. Focus on lowering carbohydrate levels as they are the first line of nutrients the body converts to energy and then fat. Also, opt for taking fresh fruits and vegetables instead of multivitamins.

2. Drink Lots of Water: water is essential for weight loss. It is 70% of the mass of the human body and 92% of the composition of blood cells. When your body does not receive adequate supplies of water to maintain this natural proportion, it starts holding whatever water it can in the various body cells. This is the reason you sweat less when you don't drink a lot of water, which of course is a bad thing as it means all the toxins in your body are staying inside. Water is a cleansing agent and detoxifies your body in addition to regulating your homeostasis and body temperature. Keeping your body well hydrated, ensures that you remove harmful impurities from it and avoid weight gain due to water retention. A healthy adult requires at least 3 quarts of water a day, while an extra 8 ounces should be taken for every pound of excess weight. You should also take in more H2O when the weather is hot or you're working out. The affect staying well hydrated have caused visible weight loss within a week.

3. Exercise: your body needs to consume the energy it generates from the breakdown of your food. If left unconsumed, the body will turn the energy into fat. Exercise is necessary to speed up your metabolism, reduce weight, strengthen cardiac muscles and have a long lasting weight loss plan which is healthy. Plan a simple, easy to follow but essentially sweat producing workout routine and stick to it religiously. You don't have to hit the dumbbells at the gym, just plan a half mile walk 3 to 4 times a week. Be sure that it increases your heart rate and makes you sweat. Walk lesser distance for lesser time if you can't go for the half mile right away, but WALK. You can try to make it as enjoyable as you like by asking a friend along or taking up a sport you really like such as cycling.

4. Think long-term: don't jump for quick results; they may rebound just as quickly. The key to healthy weight loss is not in starving your body. Make gradual lifestyle changes and stick to them. You will see results soon, but don't over exert yourself or your body may collapse.
