Taking little steps towards each goal from your resolutions will let you achieve results. Aim for a little more change and not a hundred percent change.

1. Exercise daily

Perform some easy-to-do body stretches as soon as you wake up in the morning. You can find numerous apps in the phone stores ready to be explored and utilized.

2. Walk regularly

3. Eat Healthy

Cut down on junk food and replace it with healthy snacks; munch on healthier choices like nuts, walnuts or fruits. This extends to salts and sugars as well, which are found in large quantities in fat-free food items or packaged instant food.

Add watery and juicy fruits to your plate in the mornings; eat a healthy breakfast. You would see your pounds draining away as you build up your lunch plate with more salads and vegetables. In the evenings, try cooking healthy meal instead of just dialling a food joint because of the day’s exhaustion.

4. Stand for some time

Leading sedentary lives, sitting at desks working has been a major contributing factor towards weight gain. Hence, after every hour of sitting at a desk working, stand for 10 minutes or take a walk. Exercise those leg muscles at intervals between work and relax your spine.

5. Meditate & take up yoga

These two go hand-in-hand as we realize the importance of calming our minds in the 21st century’s daily hustle in life. It is the first thing you can do in your bed as soon as get up in the morning; the next, as you step out of your bed could be Yoga.

6. Wake up early

Rise in the morning as early as possible as waking up early has health benefits you cannot risk to ignore- -good sleep, calm mind, increased focus and concentration, and regular eating habits.

7. Sleep for eight hours

Beauty sleep is not a cliché if it keeps you healthy and fit. Sleeping well will keep you from walking the path to obesity by reducing unnecessary stress in the body.

8. Cut down soda and alcohol

One of the reasons people tend to put on weight is gulping down cans of soda and alcohol in quantities not recommended by physicians; cut down on the amount of consumption.

9. Quit smoking

Smoking is a complete no-no when it comes to maintaining health and being determined on achieving your resolutions. Care for yourself, by giving up this hazardous habit.
