There is one more surprising factor that when it comes to drinks: coffee tea and soda pops do not count as water. If you drink tea or coffee you need to drink even more water to counterbalance.

There are numerous reasons to drink more water. Some of these are as below:

1. If someone isn't getting enough water the water will respond by storing as much water as possible as a defense. This extra water is a big cause of increased weight. So if you are encountering the problem of water retention, you must drink a good amount of water in order to get away from other problems. It could even help in reducing weight and a bloated look.

2. A per various studies, drinking a glass of water before going to bed helps in preventing night time hunger too.

3. If you are constantly constipated you may be dehydrated. If you don't want to be affected by this then drink enough water.

4. If you ever suffer from repeat headaches then you may not be drinking enough water. The list is never-ending. There are several other benefits of drinking water that are enough to make one know the real importance of having it in optimum quantity.
