The Six Best Fat Loss Supplements

     Walk into any health food store, and you'll see tons and tons of shelves with so many supplements that if you don't know what you're looking for, it can get overwhelming and expensive. If you are looking for help with fat loss there are six supplements that we recommend. Part 1 of this article will discuss 3 of the best fat loss supplements on the market. Let's start with the essentials.

Multi-Vitamin/Mineral

It's not flashy, not cutting edge, and not expensive. Why did this make the list of the top six? With our modern diet, nutritional deficiencies are rampant. In fact if a deficiency of a certain vitamin or mineral is severe enough, it will completely halt your fat loss progress, no matter how few calories you're consuming or how many calories you're burning.

For example, take the B-vitamin family. For the most part, they are responsible for releasing energy from carbohydrates. If you don't have enough of them, fat loss will be slow or impossible. Multi-vitamins/minerals have another effect. When you get hungry, your body is sending you a signal that it is looking for nutrients. Not calories, but nutrients. Don't get too excited though, it's not in an amount that you would see a body transformation, but nonetheless, that effect is still present. Among many of its benefits, one of them is that fish oil helps you improve your insulin sensitivity. That means that more calories are going towards beneficial purposes, and less calories are going towards fat storage.

Fiber

Fiber is another supplement that isn't flashy or catchy, but it's one of the best, most effective fat loss supplements available. There are a number of mechanisms that help fiber do its job. Fiber slows down how quickly and how much a certain food will raise your blood sugar. The faster your blood sugar rises (and subsequently drops), the more predisposed you are to putting on fat (not to mention, developing some chronic diseases). Fiber helps you mitigate that. Another mechanism through which fiber works is it helps with digestion. The better your digestion, the more nutrients you'll be able to extract from the food that you eat, and turn off your hunger signal sooner.
