Lose Beer Belly Fast With These 4 Great Tips

It is not attractive to lose beer belly. Most people are embarrassed that they have beer belly and they do not want to show it to the public. I am going to teach you how to lose your beer belly in this article so read on.

Drinking too much calorie dense alcoholic drinks is the cause of your beer belly. Alcohol contains 7 grams of calories per gram. This makes it twice as fattening as carbohydrates or protein.

Studies had shown that consuming alcohol can lead to an increase in consumption of food. You will not be aware of how full you are when you are drunk.

Drinking alcohol can also cause a dip in your testosterone level. Lower testosterone level is the reason why people who drink have less muscles than people who don't. If you have less muscles, your metabolism rate is lower and you will burn lesser calories. A high metabolism rate can help to burn more fat and calories and keep your beer belly away.

1) Stop Drinking Alcoholic Drinks

The first step you need to take is to stop drinking alcoholic drinks. To stop drinking, replace it with other beverages. Try replacing it with fruit juice, coffee or water. When you have the tendency to drink, go for your replacement drink instead.

Some people may find it hard to get rid of the bad habit of drinking immediately and you can try to cut down your intake gradually. For example, if you are currently drinking everyday, try to drink every 2 days instead of everyday. Subsequently, you can try to further out the days you drink alcohol and try to get rid of this habit in the end.

2) Choose healthier choices of food

Avoid eating foods that are packaged in a box. Foods that are packaged in a box are usually highly processed and they can easily lead to weight gain. Cereals and biscuits are some examples of processed food and they digest quickly in our body. This will cause you to experience a wild fluctuation in your blood sugar.

This can lead you to have cravings for food. When you have cravings, you tend to have a larger appetite and eat more than you need. Replace the highly processed foods with natural foods instead. Vegetables, meat, nuts and seeds are some examples of healthy natural foods.

3) Eat small meals frequently

Some people resort to starving themselves to lose their beer belly, but it is not the recommended way to do so. If you want to lose your beer belly, you should try to eat more small meals regularly instead. Eating small meals regularly can help you to increase your metabolism rate and increase the amount of calories and fat burned.

4) Start exercising regularly

It can be hard to exercise for an hour but exercising for 10 minutes a day can be easy. If you are lazy or procrastinate about exercising, I have a trick that can help you to start exercising.

Whenever I don't feel like exercising, I set my timer for 10 minutes (5 minutes is a good start) and just start exercising. If you find it hard to get to the gym, perform body weight exercises at home instead.

It is easier to trick yourself into exercising when all you are doing is exercising for 10 minutes. You probably won't get great results by exercising for 10 minutes, but what you need is the momentum to get you started.
