The steeping time for green tea is two to three minutes at 85 degree Celsius.

Rose Tea


The rose tea is considered to be good for preventing constipation and is one of the oldest flavouring teas available. It is made by mixing fresh roses and the bud of the tea, this has a major therapeutic effect on the human body. Then apart from clearing toxins and beautifying the skin rose tea also contains vitamins A, B3, C, D and E, and is known to act against infections. Rose tea thus prevents constipation and helps one to lose weight.

Oolong Tea

This is a semi-fermented tea that may have a stronger effect that even green tea, research says so. This tea promotes fat burning and also helps to reduce your cholesterol and the concentration of fat in the body. You are recommended to drink two cups per day. You should steep oolong tea for 30 seconds to five minutes, for a more full bodied cup.

Peppermint tea is a good option, and you should rotate this with a green tea drink as both of these can speed up your digestion and hence you to burn more calories. The leaves of peppermint tea can be used to make a light, refreshing tea, which can be drunk either hot chilled. You must take a tablespoon of fresh or dried leaves and then add to boiling water.
