Theres Only One Way To Achieve Your Goal

If you're looking to lose weight, build muscle, get fit or whatever you goal may be, I'd like you to go in a straight line towards that goal, whatever it is.

If you go in a straight line you are going to get to your goal because in this world where our inner spirit and soul is screaming to be free and screaming for us to pursue our own genuine happiness, there really aren't any obstacles except the terrible phobias, fears, imaginary pressures and discomforts we perceive, that plague our fragile minds!

It give me chills just thinking about how fragile my mind is.

This past week I've been practicing avoiding sugary sweets, thinking of the straight line whenever I think about desserts and ice cream and cakes. I want to stop adding those to my diet because I know they are the quickest way for me to get fat.

So that means avoiding them is the quickest way for me to get lean!

I remember this one friend of mine who wanted to be a model. He was very skinny and muscular in all the right places.

If you would have asked me how he got that way all I could tell you maybe was he had a membership to a gym. But this is not all he had going on.

His mind was set on his goal and he practiced diligently.

One day the health food store we worked at took us all out to an Italian restaurant. Since the store was paying we were all loading up on beer and fatty Italian food. I remember my friend and co-worker sitting there without eating one thing.

I asked him why he wasn't eating and he said he was on an all organic diet. That meant since the restaurant did not serve ANY certified organic foods he could not partake.

I elbowed his shoulder and told him to try a fried mushroom in oil or something and they way he said "No way" was so convicing I didn't ask him again. In fact it almost made me not eat it!

He obviously had trained his mind to think of any food that wasn't part of his diet as a distraction from getting to his GOAL of having a model's body.

The last I heard of that guy was he was working in Hawaii as a horse back riding guide along the beaches. I imagine when he interviewed for that job the people in charge said, "This guy would look great on a horse!" and probably attract many tourists to their business.

Now I'm not saying we all need to look and be just like him. He's just the brightest example I can think of in realizing that less distractions on your journey, the less time it takes to get to your goal!

Thanks and have a successful day!!!
