Obesity refers to gaining body weight. Obesity is unlike that of over weight, which means that body weighs too much. A person is said to overweight from extra muscles, bone or increased fat due to extra diet.  Obesity is the medical condition, in which body has accumulated excess weight that may have adverse effect on health. Obesity can increase the risk of shortened life expectancy and many other health diseases which lead to the risk of death. Weight of the body is determined according to the height of the person. Body mass index which determines the weight and height of the person defines a person as overweight. Obesity increases the chances of various diseases such as diabetes, heart problems, and certain types of cancer.

Obesity is generally caused by the excessive eating habit, less physical work and genetic susceptibility. Whereas, in many of the cases it is caused by gene, endocrine disorder, medication or psychiatric illness. Evidently, it has been stated that even people who less or as per their diet gain weight akin to the people who eat more is because of their slow metabolism. Overweight and obesity both the term means that body weight is higher according to the height of the person.
 
Taking calories more than that you burn leads to obesity. It is vital to burn those extra calorie is important that you take by having extra calorie food, over eating or less physical work. Many people complaints of loosing the weight and than again gaining it back and that too even more. Sometimes people loose so much of weight due to which their body feels weak and tired all the time. Today biology has come up as the big reason of not able to loose the weight. Our body is structure with a complex system to help keep our weight in control but in some people this system does not work due to which they fall as obese. Obesity is caused by

•    Eating more food than the body requirement
•    Drinking too much of alcohol

•    They sometimes do not loose the weight they gained during pregnancy

Change in the lifestyle and eating habit is the best treatment ever to loose weight. Exercise is a must for the people having obesity. Slighter weight lose can also bring big changes in your life. While dieting you should know what things will be nutritious for your health and what things you should avoid. It is difficult to bring a change in the life because what we practice from long time we are use to of it. It takes time to make and keep the change for a long time in fact many people find difficult to bring change in their eating habits. Remember to bring permanent changes in your life. Work out daily and take advices from your dietician or gym instructors. Your dietician or health instructor may teach you about:

There are several drugs for loosing weight, which may help you loose at least 5-10 pounds. But skipping such pills can make you gain weight even more than that of before.
